My Epic Idea is streamlined customer relations
A couple of years ago Epic was approached by a car salesman to help develop a more charismatic way to manage customer relations. His vision was a web based program called Sales Tools that would perform customer relationship management. He heard of Epic and the things they had done so he hired them to develop the back-end portal to the program.
Sales Tools provides dealerships with a website portal but does much more than that. It takes the information that the individual dealers input into their portal and then manages their clientele relationships for them. It affords customers access to bios of the salesman they are working with creating a more personal connection between customer and salesman. It takes care of any direct marketing and will email customers any specials or deals. It keeps track of customer information so that the dealership can offer customized bargains on a birthday. The software also handles any contests that the dealership may be hosting, alerting customers of the contest and allowing them to sign up online. It will then alert the winner(s) and congratulate them. While this software can not replace a human when it comes to customer service, it certainly is a powerful tool that can be used to improve and streamline customer relations. Currently the program is in use across southeastern Michigan but as the system is improved upon it will grow and with Epic as support it is sure to have a positive impact.
